Cyclists Pedal Through Essex for Charity

The sun shone brightly over the Essex countryside as 354 enthusiastic cyclists embarked on an inspiring journey for Farleigh Hospice’s annual Cycle for Life. This heartwarming event took place on Sunday, September 20, and saw participants of all ages pedalling through scenic routes of 20km, 50km, and 100km.

Starting and finishing at the hospice in Broomfield, Chelmsford, the cycle ride was more than just a test of endurance; it was a heartfelt tribute to loved ones cared for by the hospice. Many riders took to the roads to honour family and friends, making each kilometre a testament to the compassion and community spirit that Farleigh Hospice embodies.

The event was a resounding success, raising over £20,000 to support the hospice’s invaluable work. The funds will go a long way in providing essential care and support to those in need, ensuring that Farleigh Hospice can continue its mission of offering comfort and dignity to patients and their families.

Events like these not only bring the community together but also highlight the importance of supporting local charities. At Bond Residential, we understand the value of community spirit and are proud to be part of such a vibrant local area. Whether you’re cycling for a cause or looking for your next home, we’re here to support your journey every step of the way.
