Brave Fundraisers Walk Hot Coals For Charity

In a heartwarming display of courage and community spirit, a group of fearless fundraisers recently took on the Little Havens Fire and Lego Walk, all in aid of Essex’s only children’s hospice. Held during the Chelmsford Takeover at Chelmsford Bond Street, these brave souls walked barefoot across scorching hot coals and sharp Lego bricks, raising over £11,000 in sponsorship for Little Havens Children’s Hospice. And the donations are still rolling in!

Little Havens provides specialist care and support to babies, children, and young people living with incurable conditions, alongside invaluable support for their families. With a weekly fundraising target of over £79,000, events like the Fire and Lego Walk are crucial in ensuring the hospice can continue its vital work.

For those inspired by this incredible feat, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and support Little Havens. The charity hosts a variety of events throughout the year, catering to all interests. Whether you fancy a more traditional fundraiser or something a bit more daring, there’s an event for everyone.
