Chelmsford is set to host an uplifting event this summer with the launch of the inaugural DOSE Fest on Saturday, July 18, 2026. This one-day immersive festival promises to inspire happier and healthier communities by exploring the power of the body’s four key “happy hormones”: dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins.
The festival will be a delightful mix of interactive workshops, insightful talks, creative sessions, and shared experiences, all designed to support mental and emotional wellbeing. Co-hosting the main stage is none other than Cat Googe, affectionately known as “The Joy Queen.” Cat will lead a laughter yoga session, which is anticipated to be a festival highlight. Her session aims to boost endorphins and reduce stress through the simple act of shared laughter.
Cat expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Creating spaces for people to learn tools for their wellbeing is vital. DOSE Fest is all about community and connection; bringing people together to explore new ways to feel good, take ownership of their wellbeing and try new experiences.”
DOSE Fest is part of a broader movement focused on preventative wellbeing and fostering meaningful human connections. It’s a fantastic opportunity for locals to engage with their community and discover new ways to enhance their wellbeing.
Tickets and the full programme are available at www.dosefest.co.uk.
