From 10:30am to 5:00pm, these picturesque villages will open their garden gates for the 26th year, inviting you to explore hidden horticultural gems and soak in the vibrant community spirit.
This beloved event is a celebration of both gardens and community. With a variety of private gardens on display, you’ll find inspiration around every corner. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just enjoy the beauty of nature, the garden owners are eager to chat, share their green-fingered wisdom, and maybe even reveal some secrets of their stunning landscapes.
But it’s not just about the gardens! The day promises fun for all ages with craft stalls on Danbury Village Green, family games, and delicious ice cream to keep the little ones happy. Hop on the Danbury & Little Baddow Bus Link to easily navigate between gardens, and don’t forget to stop by the all-day café at the Village Hall for a delightful meal or a slice of cake.
Entry is just £7 in advance or £8 on the day, with under-16s free. All proceeds support Farleigh Hospice, making your day out both enjoyable and meaningful. If you’re considering opening your garden in the future, the fundraising team would love to hear from you.
