Get ready for a jolly good time as hundreds of Santas and elves descend upon Chelmsford for the much-anticipated Farleigh Hospice Santa Fun Run. On Sunday, December 7th, Central Park will transform into a vibrant sea of red and green, as participants of all ages and abilities take on the festive 5km course. Whether you choose to walk, jog, run, or roll your way to the finish line, this family-friendly event promises to be a day full of laughter and cheer.
The Santa Fun Run is not just about spreading holiday joy; it's also a wonderful opportunity to support a fantastic cause. By collecting sponsorships, participants will help Farleigh Hospice continue its invaluable work providing compassionate care to adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families across mid Essex. Farleigh Hospice also extends its support to bereaved children and adults, offering these crucial services free of charge.
This year's event is set to be extra special, with adults receiving an exclusive new Santa running top, and children donning free elf hats to add a touch of magic to the day. Even furry friends can join in the fun, with a prize up for grabs for the best-dressed dog!
Check-in begins at 9.30am, followed by a lively warm-up at 10.30am to get everyone in the festive spirit before the run kicks off at 10.45am. So, gather your friends, family, and four-legged companions for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising.
